J&K official overstays for 25 years at JKPDC in violation of transfer policy
Srinagar, Apr 05: The director health services Kashmir on Monday asked the chief medical officers and medical superintendents falling under the jurisdiction of directorate of health Kashmir to cancel the leaves of medical staff including doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and other official in view of Covid-19 upsurge.
In an order a copy of which lies with the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), director health Kashmir said that it is enjoined upon all the Chief Medical Officers/Medical Superintendents and other Territorial Offices falling within the jurisdiction of this Directorate that amid upsurge of the covid-19 pandemic, all the leaves either sanctioned or under consideration at Directorate level or at respective offices of CMO’s and other DDO’s in respect of doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and other official of this Department are here by cancelled forthwith excep

J&K records 2 more deaths, 442 test COVID positive
Jammu Tawi, Apr 05: The Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir continue to rise as 442 fresh positive cases were reported on Monday pushing the number of active cases near 4,154 which otherwise were less than 600 a few weeks before.
Two more deaths were reported in J&K in last 24 hours taking toll of deaths to 2,010 and active cases continues to increase and recovery rate decreases with each passing day. 442 fresh positive cases reported on Monday pushed the tally of positive cases to 133,454.
In Jammu division, 26,293 including 25,204 recoveries and 383 deaths are from Jammu district, 4,392 including 4,281 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Udhampur, 3,917 including 3,828 recoveries and 56 deaths are from Rajouri, 3,466 including 3,389 recoveries and 64 deaths are from Doda, 3,401 including 3,266 recoveries and 53 deaths are from Kathua, 2,884 including 2,808 recoveries and 41 deaths are from Samba, 2,757 inc
