onto win the general election in november. dana, you are good. i don t know how people realize how tough it is to keep your concentration when you hear yourself talking. very loudly. vloudly. so, harry, huge political upset in new york. representative joe crowley going to lose to this progressive activist, this upstart. what does that mean? what does that tell us? she s a 28-year-old latina woman running first time for political office and running to joe crowley s left. i think e progressive part of the democratic party is well and alive in new york city. and you combine that with ben chalice winning and she s a woman running against an older white male and also about the district itself. this is district that has become a lot more diverse over 30 years. what about other key races? what do you know?
right now, given that there s no real leader of the democratic party, there are a lot of voices trying to climb up and be the one most loudly. in the gubernatorial race it seems as though a few trump tweets on behalf of john cox were helpful for him. if i ve learned nothing else is that trump s twitter account seems to reach a lot of republican voters. we saw that in 2016, we ve seen it in 2017, now we ve seen it in 2018.that s right. if you look at the polls prior to that trump endorsement of cox versus polls taken afterwards, you saw that cox saw a big rise in the voters the republican voters needed a signal who they sh and cox was their man. outside of california, what s the biggest takeaway, whether it s a broad trent or particular race that intrees you? i would intrees you? i would say the trend is women doing well especially in democratic circles. heading into this evenin saw th
