we have been listening to president putin speaking during the world war ii victory celebration, falsely claiming a real war is being waged against our motherland. i want to bring in claire sebastian about what we just heard from president putin. a lot of misinformation and disinformation in that speech. let s start that the claim of a war being waged on the motherland. this didn t seem to be anything new from president putin. this is his justifications for the war in ukraine, among them that russia is under siege, under attack. this rings particular ly true i recent days. it s been less than a week that drones hit the kremlin, close to where he was standing, while making that speech. we ve seen attacks near the
