A group of people in Melbourne s western suburbs have made and given away almost 150,000 masks during the coronavirus pandemic.
Vivienne Nguyen, the chair of the Victorian Multicultural Commission, praised the work of St Albans woman Phượng Huỳnh and her friends. I myself got 3,000 [masks] for the Hume council during lockdown last year, Ms Nguyen said.
Ms Huỳnh s work has also been recognised as part of an ABC pay it forward campaign.
