Just over 130 years ago, Wexford man Tom “Skull” Hayes let out an almighty roar in Dublin’s Phoenix Park. He and his Selskar Young Irelands teammates, in controversial circumstances, had scored a memorable win against Cork opposition to secure Wexford’s first ever All-Ireland Senior Football title.
