to watch my movies and my television shows, my front room. i love this couch, it s so pretty. everybody s like a pink couch, vivica. i was, like, yes. this house is going to be feminine. it s going to be all about me. and then you ll see a lot of rock and roll memorabilia here. i ve got a book with michael jackson, my favorite. miss you so much, mj. my girl madonna. mr. leo himself, barack obama. and then throughout my house you ll see elephants with the trunk going up. and the trunk going up is always, always for good energy. i try to have good energy throughout my entire home. and then also a really cool thing that you ll see is my fireplace. it s an electric fireplace because, you know, i ain t got time to be logging and cutting wood. i ain t doing that. but it can turn blue, green, clear, red, and a yellow. so it s, kind of, like, all of the colors that are in my stained glass windows. [music playing] and as we come to the second level,
this is a room that i like to call, like, a little mini theater, relaxing room. once again, you ll see the beautiful stained glass windows that create my privacy. also, i ve got shades on there where you can just, like, lower them, so it can be, like, really dark. you ll see some of my favorite artists in here. and, oh, my gosh, i have got the massage chair of life up in here, ok? this is like a spaceship of a massage chair that literally leads back. it s just the bomb dotcom, you understand what i m saying? and it s really good after a long day on the set. but this next room is where we create vivica a. fox. [music playing] i am so blessed in my home to have my own salon that my makeup artist, my hairdresser matter of fact, they came this morning and created this magic. do you hear me, ok? but here we have my wigs from my vivica fox hair collection, impressions. they ve got this beautiful vanity case,
and it doesn t disappoint. see for yourself. [music playing] hello there, darlings. it s your girl vivica a. fox here. and welcome to my fabulous foxy villa. in life, i ve been fortunate enough to have five homes, but i got to tell you this latest villa is my absolute favorite and a definite keeper. we are sitting here in the foyer, which i love having because you can sit here, have a glass of champagne, read a book if you like. i love stained glass windows. so in california they build the houses a little bit close so in a way it s like having privacy and also art in the windows. that s because i m an artist. you will see that i am totally influenced by artists from all over the world and from all walks of life. what i love about this kitchen area is that it s so open.
welcome to open house, everyone. i can t wait for you to see the homes this week, but let me tell you a little bit about this upper west side gem that i am standing in right now. this sun-filled duplex, just steps from riverside park, boasts an open flow between the stylish living and dining areas for easy entertaining, giving this very uptown locale more of a downtown vibe. a grand staircase leads you upstairs to the private wing, including this primary bedroom suite with dressing room and spa-like bathroom, one of four bedrooms in this impressive townhouse in the sky. we are starting things off in la with the very busy, the very glamorous actor, producer, and tv host vivica a. fox. we found out she s been a longtime fan of open house, so, of course, we were delighted when she invited us over for a private tour of what she appropriately called her fabulous foxy villa.
the pool. we can get a little wet and wild. so now we are at my outdoor pool area, which is great because i ve got like a covered patio, i ve got a full outdoor kitchen with a bar tap too, ok? and then the pool the pool is beautiful and it s heated. so even in the wintertime, if you want to take a dip, you can still get a little bit of your exercising on and just chill out. well, that s it for now, darlings. i hope you have enjoyed getting a little behind the scenes of my foxy villa. and who knows? maybe i ll see you at home number six. script s still being written. bye for now, darlings.
