During its annual Awards Ceremony held virtually on Thursday, March 25, the University of Sudbury had the pleasure of recognizing the exceptional leadership, dedication, and success of students, employees, and of Justice Robert Del Frate, an individual showing great community pride and involvement.
With a holistic approach, University of Sudbury students are encouraged to develop not only their resumes, but themselves, to become engaged citizens transforming the world through service to others and right relationships. Student awards recognize such development and values, in addition to academic achievement.

The University of Sudbury would like to congratulate the five participants and scholarship recipients for this 2020-21 academic year.
The Normand Forest Leadership Program allows students to take on a leadership role at the University of Sudbury, in addition to receiving a $1,500 scholarship. The program was launched in 2017 by the family of Normand Forest, to honour this University of Sudbury/Collège du Sacré Coeur alumnus (1959).

Amongst other things, he was a lawyer, a leader, and an engaged volunteer for many years, within the University of Sudbury, Laurentian Federation, and Greater Sudbury communities, with particular involvement in the Franco-Ontarian community.
