WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Hundreds of new and returning students at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) took full advantage of this year's Welcome Week activities to make new friends and learn more about the campus. Held during the first week of the fall semester, Welcome Week includes a variety of activities and events designed to bring students together to make new connections and learn more about what MSU-WP has to offer. In the past, activities have included concerts, movie nights, build-your-own-bear workshops and Sample West Plains. "This year's Welcome Week was a blast!," said Jared Cates, coordinator of student life and development. "Throughout the week, the campus was 'roaring' with students enjoying themselves and making good memories." Activities for the week revolved around the theme "Let the Good Times Roar."
