Vodafone to seek $2.4 billion in Vantage IPO PUBLISHED BY
Vodafone Group Plc plans an initial public offering of 2 billion euros or $2.4 billion of its European mobile-phone tower unit in Frankfurt. Vantage would be the biggest European IPO since InPost, the parcel locker company, in January.
According to a statement from the company in its listing documents, the U.K. telecommunications giant plans to sell shares in its German Vantage Towers AG at 22.50 euros to 29 euros apiece. The market value of Vantage has been determined at 14.7 billion euros. Vodafone intends to use the proceeds to pay some of its accumulated debt, the company said.

11 Mar 2021 Picture used for illustrative purpose. Vodafone Group would seek to raise up to 2.8 billion euros ($3.32 billion) in proceeds by floating infrastructure unit Vantage Towers in Europe’s largest initial public offering (IPO) of 2021.
The UK-based operator set the price range for the flotation of Vantage Towers on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange at 22.50 to 29 euros per share, implying a total market capitalisation of up to 14.7 billion euros.
The base offer size is 2 billion euros, but there is scope to increase it to 2.8 billion euros through an “upsize” option and an over-allotment option for lead managers on the deal, Vodafone said.
