New Commons and Commercial Kitchen will Expand Gathering Space and Help Address Wellness and Food Insecurity

Vistamar School, an independent college preparatory day school serving grades 9-12, announced construction started this week on the Viking Commons, a new commercial kitchen and gathering space for the school.

The commercial kitchen will provide a nutritious lunch daily for the entire school community, and the innovative communal space will expand ways for Vistamar’s students, faculty, and staff to connect. Construction is planned to be completed by August, 2021 for the start of the new school year.
