That simple solution is that the ramp to south 17 south of town here ought to be closed every weekend during the summer. A simple sign that says ramp to 17 in los gatos closed would o vert this traffic. One problem is some of the apps recommend surface street shortcuts. But the mayor of los gatos says you wont save any time detouring through her town. As a deterrent, police are patrolling the area ticketing people who block intersections and other offenses.
