Raman Sachdev

Raman Sachdev is a Visiting Instructor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of South Florida. He teaches philosophy, and he leads discussion-based classes at the university s Judy Genshaft Honors College, where he has created and instituted unique courses like Mental Illness, Suicide, and Moral Responsibility and Music and the Emotions/Music and the Screen. Raman earned his Ph.D. from USF in 2019, and his research specializations include the history of philosophy, early modern philosophy, and skepticism. Prior to earning his Ph.D., Raman attained a Bachelors degree in philosophy from Loyola University Chicago. Then he earned a Masters in the Humanities degree from The University of Chicago, where he wrote a creative thesis on songwriting and music production.
