getting sick they don t want to take low wage service jobs, they don t want to send their kids into school buildings. that holds back working mothers. so just a lot of significant downstream impacts. and also, i wanted to mention that just this morning as well we re getting news in that the president does plan to travel now to queens, new york, and to new jersey on tuesday to tour the storm-ravaged portions of that area. absolutely, both really hard hit by the remnants of hurricane ida. thank you so much, heidi, for that from the white house. let s turn to capitol hill. a group of house republicans are now backing up minority leader kevin mccarthy s threat to tech companies. arizona republican andy biggs leading ten other lawmakers and sending a letter to 13 companies, threatening them with legal action if they comply with the january 6th committee s request for records of gop lawmakers. joining me now, pennsylvania congresswoman madeleina dean.
