Public health consultant Dr Paul Southworth said Moray had seen an increase in Covid hospital admissions this week
HEALTH chiefs have warned of a deteriorating situation in Moray amid reports that some people are failing to self-isolate and breaching rules on indoor gatherings. The region currently has the worst Covid rate in Scotland amid a recent surge in cases, and there are growing fears that it may be left behind when the rest of the country unlocks into Level Two restrictions later this month. The latest figures show that prevalence of the virus in Moray has climbed to 81.4 cases per 100,000, compared to just 11 per 100,000 in neighbouring Aberdeenshire and Highland.
