Tetra Pak pushes for more transparency
published : 11 Dec 2020 at 04:00 Automation is increasingly important for manufacturers that process food and use packaging materials during the lockdown.
Tetra Pak Thailand is urging its peers in the food processing and packaging industry to be more transparent as consumers are concerned about food safety in the wake of the pandemic.
By transparency, the subsidiary of Switzerland-based Tetra Laval Group means buyers should be given access to tracking the journey of raw materials from farm to table.
This builds trust in food brands by making raw materials, food processing and packaging technology used by manufacturers more traceable.
