The large, orange steel sculpture that sits in Decatur's Harmony Park in Oakhurst has been temporarily removed for maintenance and to be refurbished. The sculpture, called Dreamsicle, will soon return to the corner of East Lake Drive and Oakview Road.
Various events are happening this week in and around DeKalb County, including jazz nights at the Solarium at Historic Scottish Rite, a Labor Day celebration with fireworks on the Decatur Square and a volunteer expo in Tucker. A few local government meetings are also scheduled for this week.
