The council will meet in a budget workshop at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, to talk about the property tax levy. Later that night, the council is expected to adopt a preliminary tax levy.
The UpRiver Race, put on by the Brainerd Family YMCA and Mississippi Headwaters Board, is open to canoers, kayakers, stand-up paddleboarders and even cyclists.
