Filmmakers Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt had announced their professional separation early this year. Announcing the same, Mukesh said in a statement that their banner Vishesh Films will now be run by his children Sakshi and Vishesh. He also maintained that Vishesh Films was always his company and Mahesh was on board as an Editorial consultant. He had said, “We didn t have any fight, but he does not want to hold on to his position.”

Some of your films, especially the ones from 2018-2020, like Cheat India , Mr X and others haven t created the usual buzz.
I never say I have had flop films. I would say that I have had my share of films which, were not so popular. It would be ludicrous for an actor to expect every film of his/her to work. There is no actor who has had 100 per cent success. I term those films as an experience and I enjoyed every film that I ve done. In an interview, Mukesh Bhatt confirmed that Mahesh Bhatt will no longer be a part of the firm and has denied all the reports of them being involved in a fight. Mukesh’s kids, Sakshi and Vishesh will be carrying the Vishesh Films’ legacy forward and he will provide them with advice as and when necessary. Mukesh also clarified that Mahesh just does not want to continue to the role and if he needs help from the latter, he will definitely ask him for it.
