A promising Cambridge artificial intelligence start-up backed by China’s Tencent has lost its chief executive and founder of five years.
Vishal Chatrath left Secondmind, a machine learning start-up that has raised tens of millions of pounds in venture capital funding, earlier this month. The company is now hunting for a new chief executive and has appointed an executive committee to lead in the interim, a spokesman confirmed.
The group includes Juha Seppa, chief operating officer, Gary Brotman, its head of product, and Peter Bullivant, Secondmind s finance chief.
