Activists pose as dead bodies with fake oil poured over them outside city Barclays branch CLIMATE activists were spotted posing as dead bodies while fake oil was poured over them in Glasgow today.  Extinction Rebellion protestors took action outside the Barclays branch on Argyle Street in their efforts to “draw attention to the deaths that have been caused by Barclays’ unethical investments in fossil fuels”. Five protestors have been pictured lined up outside the bank while another poured the liquid over them.  They said the five “bodies” represented a woman from Mossmorran in Fife who died of air pollution, another who represented a woman who died from contaminated water, someone who died due to the drought caused in Colombia and a park ranger (and gorilla) from the Virunga National Park in Congo.
