Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. and Power & Tel today announced that Pioneer Communications has deployed the Fujitsu 1FINITY„¢ platform and Virtuora cloud solutions to address exponential growth in demand for internet bandwidth. The 1FINITY S100 layer 2 switching platform enables network speeds up to 100G, with an optional path to 200G without significant future investments. For more than 65 years, Pioneer Communications has delivered reliable telecommunications services to residents and businesses in Southwest Kansas. To continue to expand their offering of affordable, high-speed connectivity, Pioneer Communications needed to quickly increase capacity while minimizing space requirements, power consumption and capital expenditures.
