The vegetables, herbs, and flowers grown in the U.S. today came from all around the world, yet we are slowing losing the diversity of our seed stock, according to RPL, in a news release. In this talk, attendees will cover a brief history of how seed varieties came to the country and its importance and relevance today especially in the face of climate change. The program will end with a discussion of some easy varieties and techniques to begin saving seeds on your own.
