Com, you will notice a few things different in this debate because of the pandemic candidates, panelist and myself are in separate locations, as you can see here. No live audience, instead, they are joining us virtually yet doom thanks to the Northern Virginia chamber of commerce. What hasnt changed, this will have an opportunity to find out where the candidates stand on issues important to virginia voters. Lets begin by quickly covering the rules for todays event. The debate will last one hour and begin with one and a half minute Opening Statements from each candidate. Our panel is and i will post questions directly to the candidates. These questions have been determined by nbc news and the panelists and not reviewed by the candidates or any debate
They wanted to make sure that the taxes began in the peoples house rather than in the senate and if you are going to simply rely on the congress to determine whether or not it is unconstitutional or not our fundamental procedures like this, then i think that we have some problems as the constitution mean anything anymore. So i think the court can look at it and not be terribly worried about the issue especially based on what they did in years ago. Other questions . The most important problem weve had is the omalleybrown administration. It. This administration has rated 1. 3 billion out of Environmental Trust fund. They took 460 million out of program open space. They took money out of the chesapeake restoration fund. They took money out of the Chesapeake Bay trust. When you buy the tags, they took the money out of there. 1. 3 billion was raided in one of these trust funds. One thing we wont do, we wont raid the trust fund will try to replenish all the money and focus on the real problem in the bay and the so we will do in our administration. The rain tax is universally hated by most people in the state. Thats the only solution theyve come up with. The rain that falls on your house, i can tell you ive been going from one end of the state to the other. People everywhere just are disgusted with that. Thats

M oderator would not be used to defend the barn on samesex marriage even though it was the biggest constitutional challenge the state faces right now. As governor, you would be part of the council that oversees the fund. How should the fund be used, and with would you as governor use it to defend idahos samesex marriage ban . I think regardless of what an individuals beliefs are about whether we should have samesex marriage in idaho, the fight is not one idaho can currently win. I think that must be used to money used to fight the lawsuit is money thrown down the drain. Even nevada saw the wisdom in not pursuing that litigation any further. I think the writings on the wall, and there are certainly just some things idaho cannot afford to do in these hard economic times. Moderator all right.
