A friend of the British woman who vanished from her American boyfriend s yacht in the U.S. Virgin Islands over a week ago is questioning why police have yet to search the vessel where she was last seen, he told Fox News on Tuesday.
Andrew Baldwin, speaking on America’s Newsroom, said Sarm Heslop is his best friend and wants to understand why investigators have taken so long to search the 47-foot Siren Song, which was moored in Frank Bay, St. John, at the time the former flight attendant went missing.
Sarm Heslop, 41, was reported missing on March 8 to the Virgin Islands Police Department.
According to reports, Sarm was last seen aboard the Siren Song that was moored in Frank Bay, St John. She is about 5 feet 7 inches in height and has a tattoo on her left shoulder.
On March 10, divers from various local and federal law enforcement agencies, and other citizens, formed a dive search party to try to locate Sarm, unfortunately, this effort proved unsuccessful.
The Virgin Islands Police Department in an update on March 15 said the search continues for the missing woman who had been staying with her American boyfriend.
