Toronto-based ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD announced the release of their upcoming album, Talk Memory, on Thursday. The 9-track album is set to feature additional contributions from musicians Arthur Verocai, Karriem Riggins, Terrace Martin, Laraaji, and harpist Brandee Younger, known for her work with Moses Sumney and Thundercat. With its cover designed by Virgil Abloh-led design firm Alaska-Alaska™, the album is described in a press release as an evolution-focused on collaboration and the magic of improvised live performance. ADVERTISEMENT It took a year or two of just living life to get to the place where the creative process was exciting again and once we actually went into the studio it was the most concise recording and writing process we’ve ever had, the band said in a statement about the album.
