Flamingos, the visitors to the financial capital of Mumbai have got a postal cover! Coinciding with the International Day of Forests, the India Post has released a special cover - “Flamingos - Mumbai’s flagship winter visitors’.
Hatchlings of green sea turtles emerged from their nests at Devbagh-Tarkarli beach on Saturday making it the first-ever photo-documented nest of this species along the Maharashtra coast, bringing joy to marine conservationists active in marine turtle conservation across Maharashtra state.
