Police officer assaulted while conducting arrest
The Timmins Police Service charged a local woman with a number of criminal code offences stemming from an incident which occurred at a Maple Street South residence during the late afternoon hours of Friday, March 12.

The Timmins Police Service responded to an incident where a female suspect had allegedly attempted to gain entry into a residence.
After denying the entry, the suspect became belligerent towards the occupants of the residence by causing a disturbance directly in front of the residence which resulted in damaging the door frame of the residence, according to police.
