The TMC has moved a petition before the Supreme Court over the violence in Tripura. The TMC told the court that the situation in the state is "worsening by the day." The court will hear the petition on Tuesday.
On reaching Agartala on Monday, TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee said, "If you have grievances against me, blow up my car. Why harass the people of the state?" This comes in the wake of tension between BJP and TMC in the state.
