Driver Phil Giesbrecht swept the co-featured $50,000 sophomore stakes on Friday, April 26 at Fraser Downs with Ray Gemmill Memorial upset winner Phone Nine One One and Penny Bath Memorial champion Kootenay Cocoa, who equalled the divisional track record.
Fraser Downs offered the B.C. Breeders Stakes as the main course on the menu for Thursday (Oct. 5) evening and Over Ice, Wannabeabigstar, and Buddy Knocks each doubled up in their stakes series triumphs.
Three $15,000 Robert Millbank Memorial B.C. Stakes and two $15,000 Betty Millbank Memorial B.C. Stakes were contested on Thursday (Sept. 28) evening at Fraser Downs as freshman pacers headlined the card action.
