Mongolian-Indian business forum goes online
AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian-Indian Business Council started a virtual business forum on December 24, 2020 in collaboration with the Embassy of India, Montsame reports.
The business forum began with a webinar ‘Blockchain technology application in agriculture’ continued with another webinar themed ‘Application of Blockchain technology in animal husbandry’ on January 5.
During the webinar, the participants got acquainted with Mongolian meat processing and meat factories and discussed the application of blockchain technology in animal husbandry.
The business forum will take place until February 4 with more webinars, namely the Development of business relations of the two countries through smart cities, and Smart City and Application of Blockchain Technology on January 7, Coking coal export to India, and Geology and Mining Sector and Application of Blockchain Technology on January 21, as well as Oil refinery project and Blockchain Techn

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The first meeting for the joint regulation platform of the agriculture sector took place today on December 15.
In his opening speech, Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry Z.Mendsaikhan said, “The Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry is currently implementing 6 large scale projects with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank, and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and over 20 technical cooperation projects including those implemented with non-refundable aid in partnership with some 10 international organizations.
Regulation and proper mechanism is necessary to be developed to effectively implement the projects, enhance their results, and create correlation. Long-term joint regulation is required for the aforementioned projects and programmes to be implemented in 2020-2025.”
