Bulletin Board: 40th Montague Mug Race set for Aug. 21 >Published: 7/9/2021 8:48:25 PM The 40th Montague Mug Race is scheduled to be run Saturday, Aug. 21 beginning at 8:30 a.m.  The race starts at the Village Green in Montague Center, with the course 5.5 miles in length. It offers hills, dirt roads and great views of the Connecticut River. The finish line is at the ball field on Station Road.  The top prize is a Pewter Mug for the top male and female finisher. Ceramic mugs are awarded to the top three finishers in each division and T-shirts are given to the first 65 people to register.
