George Clooney’s The Tender Bar filming in Beverly

George Clooney and Ben Affleck will be in Beverly this week as filming for “The Tender Bar,” a forthcoming Amazon Studios flick, takes place downtown.
Jacob’s Corner Bar & Grill has been transformed into The Dickens Bar and the vacant building next door has become a Foto Hut, advertising “7-hour film developing” on the sign.
Vinnie Orlando, owner of Jacobs Corner, said someone scouting the location had come in multiple times expressing interest in filming the movie there.
“He said ‘George likes the look of the bar; it reminds him of one he went to when he was younger,’” Orlando said, explaining how the site was selected.
