It is with great sadness that the family of Vincent Stolz announce his passing on Monday February 6 2023, at Pioneer Ridge, with family by his side. Vince was born January 14 1930 in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan.

NIPIGON – A Thunder Bay man, 22-year-old Vincent Stolz will celebrate New Years Eve in custody. OPP from Nipigon report that on December 30, 2020 at approximately 2:00 am EST, officers with assistance from the Dorion and Hurkett Volunteer Fire Departments and Superior North Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single motor vehicle roll over on Highway 11&17 in the Township of Dorion.
The OPP investigation determined the driver to be impaired by drug and the vehicle to have been stolen from Thunder Bay.
During the arrest the STOLZ assaulted one of the arresting officers.
STOLZ was subsequently arrested and transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with non-life threatening injuries.
