Westpac has meticulously detailed how Bill Papas allegedly orchestrated one of the biggest frauds this country has ever seen, right down to his plans to leave the country if it was ever discovered.
Westpac alleges Vince Tesoriero, who appeared in court for the first time, received $28 million from Bill Papas that was part of the proceeds of an alleged massive fraud on the bank.
What was initially reported as a $297-million fraud allegedly perpetrated by Bill Papas through his company Forum Finance, is now reportedly blown to $500 million.
