One injured in hit and run case Dimapur, Sep. 25 (EMN): One unidentified non-Naga pedestrian, age around 30 years, was hit by a scooty in Ghorapatti area near Amar mill, Dimapur, on September 24 at around 9:20 pm. As a result, the pedestrian received serious head injury and was admitted at Faith Hospital, Dimapur. According to a police report, the pedestrian was wearing a black shirt, grey half pant with black leather belt and a double hearted tattoo marks imprinted on the right dorsum hand with orange thread on the right wrist. Relatives and friends are asked to contact the officer in-charge of West Police Station or Faith Hospital, Dimapur, for further information. Dimapur, Aug. 25 (EMN): The Union Baptist Church (UBC) sanctuary choir and friends have announced to stage a jubilee concert on August 27 and 28 at the Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima at 5 pm. An update from UBC stated that the choral performance would be based on Psalm 100 and brings out the Psalms global aspect by incorporating music cultures of different regions of the world. It would be represented by seven language groups and bring out the essence of Psalm 100. The choir would present the chamber ensemble version comprising of 55 singers and 13 musicians led by their conductor, Vimezo Iralu. It informed that the concert would begin with musical performances by Dr. Kethoser Aniu Kevichusa, Nourhe Khate, Keneingunuo Rio and the UBC male voice. The fundraising event concert would be the first major local event highlighting the upcoming UBC golden jubilee celebration to be held in October 2023.
