Our Correspondent Mokokchung, Nov. 25 (EMN): The Watsu Center for Women Development was inaugurated by the director of Women Resource Development, Vilone Sakhrie, at WRC Marepkong in Mokokchung town on November 25. The director, in his speech, stated that the inauguration of the centre was delayed due to the pandemic. He stated that Watsu Mungdang is a highly respected and recognised women organisation in the state, which is tirelessly working for the uplift of women. He added the department would look forward to working in joint venture with the Watsu Mungdang even in the days to come. Arenla Longkumer, president of Watsu Mungdang, said that the inauguration of the centre was a long awaited dream. It may be mentioned that the Watsu Centre for Women Development was the resolution, which was made during its silver jubilee in April 2007.
