VillagesOKC, a nonprofit that connects older adults to activities and learning opportunities, will offer a free learning sessions this month, one in ]northwest Oklahoma City and the other in Edmond.
Born with retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic disease that causes cells in the retina to break down over time, Mark Ivy was slowly robbed of his vision. But the Oklahoma City man, a staunch advocate for the visually impaired, has continued to play adaptive sports and has trained at the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs
