On April 24, more than 100 volunteers spent their Saturday morning cleaning up Bensenville parks to celebrate Earth Day. This was a collaborative effort between the village, Bensenville Park District, and Grand Subaru.
All volunteers had the option to choose between cleaning up Bensenville Park District parks or the village s Redmond Recreational Complex. The event was sponsored by Grand Subaru of Bensenville who participated in the cleanup and provided funding to purchase T-shirts for volunteers.
