A portion of land beginning at the southeast corner of 115th and Beloit is actually owned by the Worth Park District and not the village. The park district is rededicating the area, which is adjacent to the Terrace Centre, to the village. (Photos by Joe Boyle)

A recent review of local village boundaries resulted in quite a discovery by members of the Worth Park District.
The survey of streets in the Village of Worth raised some eyebrows when it was learned that portions of Depot Street and Beloit Avenue actually belonged to the park district.
The discovery was made after the Worth Park District requested an examination of streets in the village for a more complete historic review of the area.
