Ensure student safety . University says it has heightened security here and sent word out. One of the things is people know about it. This is the letter sent out by someone with a picture of the university of missouri president angry he was forced to leave. They say they will take it out on Howard University students, saying anybody left at howard by 10 00 today would be the first to go. Word of the online threat spread quickly on social media to the point virtually every howard student we spoke to knew about it. The university announced it was increasing security on campus and at area metro stops. And encouraged anyone seeing suspicious activity to report it.
