The Village honors local humanitarian

It’s not every day one receives a proclamation declaring a day in their honor, but that’s exactly what happened during The Village City Council meeting. Mayor David Bennett declared by proclamation Monday, Feb. 8, to be ”Kyle Taylor Day” in The Village in recognition of his “quick, thoughtful and generous actions to assist elderly citizens in need.”
“Kyle runs a local lawn and landscaping business and is well known for helping out elderly residents in The Village who need lawn care,” said Village Councilwoman Cathy Cummings who has lived with her husband Sean and their five children in The Village for the past 20 years. “We have so many older residents on limited incomes who occasionally need assistance. Kyle is the always the first one to ask, ‘How can I help.’”
