Maria Bassett, Islamoradaâs acting village manager and finance director, shared a partial list of public information requests to illustrate the volume and complexity of some of the requests. From the 11/19/2020 Village Council meeting minutes:
âThis item was heard at 8:06 p.m. Vice Mayor Pete Bacheler asked the Village Attorney, Roget Bryan, if there was a way to limit public records requests due to the amount of staff time involved. The Village Attorney stated information could be provided to him.â
