3 December is the 26th day that the refugees have been stranded at the Belarusian-Polish border. They are staying in a transportation and logistics hub near the Belarusian border checkpoint Bruzgi.
“The emergencies services are on standby 24/7 at the logistics hub to ensure order and fire safety. The center has a reserve of necessary things and food. Food distribution is well organized. It is important that we have managed to create acceptable conditions for refugees at the center,” the senator said.
The delivery of humanitarian aid to the refugees continues. A total of 135 tonnes of humanitarian aid has been received so far. The refugees were handed out 109 tonnes of aid, including 85 tonnes of food, Viktor Liskovich noted. The handing out of warm footwear and blankets will continue.
