On Friday, a Mumbai court reserved its verdict on the bail application filed by former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh in the corruption case against him. The court will pronounce its verdict on January 18.
The order comes after Anil Deshmukh's wife Aarti had approached Bombay High Court against the provisional attachment of assets by the ED as per PMLA provisions.
Bench of Justices GS Patel and Madhav Jamdar stated that if the adjudicating authority gives a final order then no coercive action is to be taken till January 10, 2022.
