Gandhinagar, July 30 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will virtually join the celebrations between August 1 and 9 to mark the five years of the Rupani-Nitin Patel government in Gujarat.
About a-year-and-a-half before the state Assembly elections, the government wants to reach out to the various sections of the society through the celebration.
According to information available, both Modi and Shah will virtually participate on two separate days during the nine-day celebrations.

Patna, March 1 : Greetings and birthday wishes have been pouring in from all political parties across the spectrum as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar celebrated his 70th birthday on Monday.
The ruling Janata Dal (United) celebrated Nitish Kumar s birthday as Vikas Diwas and put up banners and posters on the streets of Patna. A 70-pound cake was cut at the party office on this occasion. Leaders such as Tejashwi Yadav, Jitan Ram Manjhi, R.C.P Singh conveyed their greetings to Kumar.
