Sindri: Dhanbad police have arrested three people in connection with the murder of Sheela Sinha, a resident of Kusum Vihar colony under Seraidhela pol.

SINDRI: An elderly woman living alone in the posh Kusum Vihar colony under Saraidhela police station in Dhanbad was brutally killed on Monday night. According to police, going by the manner in which the crime was executed, the killers might have been known to the deceased. Police were examining the CCTV footage taken from a nearby house but were yet to get any clue about the identity of the assailants.
The woman, Sheela Sinha, was the wife of a retired BSNL SDO. Her husband, S P Sinha, died nearly 10 years ago.
According to reports, her son Samit, an LIC employee in Patna, made a call to his mother at around 10pm on Monday and when there was no response, he asked one of the tenants to check. The latter found the door locked from outside and when despite repeated knocks there was no response from the elderly woman, police were informed.
