UDHAMPUR : Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib inaugurated pink booth Covid-19 vaccination exclusively for women in presence of Chief Medical Officer Dr K C Dogra at District Hospital Udhampur, here the other day.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the initiative has been taken by the District Administration and health department for the convenience of females, especially pregnant women to save them from standing in queue for vaccination. She added that the main objective of establishment of Pink Booth is to ensure hassle free Covid vaccination services for females. She informed that around 95% frontline and health workers and 88% population of 45 year and above have been vaccinated in the District so far.
