Hero FC, Shaheen FC sail into semi-finals round 28th Annual Football C’ship Excelsior Sports Correspondent JAMMU, Mar 9: Trouncing their rivals convincingly in their respective matches, Hero FC and Shaheen FC entered into semi-finals round by defeating Vijay FC and Young Rovers in the ongoing 28th Annual Football Championship, being played at GGM Science College Ground, here today. The first match was played between Vijay Club FC and Hero FC. Both the teams enthralled the audience with their spectacular moves. The first goal was scored by Vishal of Vijay FC in the 9th minutes of the 1st half, whereas in 42nd minute of the game, the score of both teams were as 1-1 goal as Tabish Ahmad netted goal for Hero FC. Vijay Club once again took the lead in 55th minutes of the game, Sandeep scored one more goal, whereas Hero FC equalized the lead in 84th minutes by Emad’s goal and thus game ended with 2-2 goals. Vijay, Hero Clubs register wins Vijay, Hero Clubs register wins J&K Premier League Excelsior Sports Correspondent JAMMU, Feb 8: In the ongoing J&K Premier Football League being played at GGM Science College ground here, two matches were played as per the fixture. In the first match, Vijay Club defeated Param Football Club by a solitary goal which was scored by Parth. In the second match, Hero Football Club defeated NGR Club by five goals to nil. Both the matches were played well with end to end attacks. Today’s matches were witnessed by Ramesh Chander, ex International Footballer and former vice president JKFA, who was the chief guest on the occasion. Ranjeet Singh, Ex International Footballer and Chief Coach J&K Police Football Team and another ex-International Player Amar Deep Singh, Rajesh Sumberia former National Player, Harbans Lal ex-Player, Kamaljeet ex-I-League player and Yousuf Don Secretary DFA Jammu were also present.
