Know about whos showing up in the garden state and why both sides are afraid of folks not showing up in the old dominion. Also today, a decade ago when Medicare Part d was in the hot seat on health care. Some folks are trying to compare it to the current rocky rollout. How much of the reception and the objections are actually similar to todays talk . Good morning from washington. Its tuesday, october 29th, 2013. This is the daily rundown. Im chuck todd. To my first reads of the morning. For more than thee years it was a key component of the president s sales pitch to the public, a promise he made repeatedly while selling the Health Care Law. If you like your Health Care Plan, you keep your Health Care Plan. These folks need to stop scaring everybody. If you like your Health Care Plan, you keep your Health Care Plan. Nobodys going to force you to leave your Health Care Plan. If you like your doctor, you keep seeing your doctor. I dont want government bureaucrats meddling in your health

We voted on another Collection Program that the Central Intelligence agency has that tracks International Money transfers. By the international transfers, it picks up a fair amount of american data as well. I was wondering whether that also raises concerns. You talked a lot about the privacy and locations of that. It does add to this. I worry about any kind of bulk collection for a couple of reasons. What have you collected . So much, do you have anything . I asked these intelligence agencies and others if you want the police to go into your home and go through all their records, Everybody Knows they would have to have a search warrant. It would be inconceivable otherwise. Quality of records and Everything Else are online. They go in there. Is this any different . I think we are reaching a point in this country where many people feel we can do this so lets do this. Just because we can do it, does it make any sense . Secondly, do we have the legal right to do it . Thirdly, if we do have
Save money by paying for fewer Police Officers regardless of the local agency in response for stationed officer at checkpoints. A consistent presence at these checkpoints is critical. I look forward to a bright discussion regarding security today and in the future. I firmly believe that we should not adjourn without at least continuing to address this issue. I want to thank the chief for his perspective on this. He gave me a new insight about predictability and the fact that if it is known that there is an officer of the checkpoint they become easy targets. I appreciate that. I want to thank mr. Cox. You gave us another way to look at this. You talked about how this possibly could be done, and that is why it is so important to continue the discussion because i think we can be creative and we can try things. I think there is no reason why we cannot take several ideas, try them out, see what works best, but i do not want to give up on this discussion. Thank you for allowing me to be here
