Vietnamese small business owners overwhelmingly expect to grow in 2023, with a new survey showing they are the most confident in their local economy across the surveyed markets in the Asia-Pacific.
The export value of Vietnamese small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through Amazon’s e-commerce platform enjoyed a high growth rate of over 45% last year, according to figures released by Amazon Global Selling.
Nguyen Van Than, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, said up to 70% of Vietnamese small and medium enterprises are outside the digital economy, and only about 20% are learning about it.
There are positive signs ahead for Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly as several foreign organisations have actively injected their money into local businesses showing a resilient recovery this year.
